Dixonfield forms part of greater Thurso in Scotland's far north, sitting on the flat Caithness coastline where North Sea winds moderate the Highland climate. The A99 connects it to Thurso centre 3km south, whilst the A9 from Inverness provides the main 200km route for long-distance visitors. Approximately 4 EV charging points serve the area. The town boasts one of mainland Britain's most northerly cricket pitches.
