Ditchling is a South Downs village in East Sussex, reached via the A273 from Brighton (10km south) or junction 11 of the M23. The B2116 provides access from Lewes and the A27. The village houses the Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft, showcasing works by Eric Gill and Edward Johnston's influential early 20th-century artistic community.
