Devol is a tiny farming town of 146 people in southwestern Oklahoma, sitting along US Highway 70 about 25 miles west of Lawton. The main routes are US-70 running east-west through town and State Highway 36 providing north-south access to Grandfield and Walters. Most visitors are passing through on agricultural business or heading to nearby Texas. The town's towering grain elevator serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles across the flat countryside.
