Devils Bridge lies along the A4120 mountain road in mid Wales, roughly 20km inland from Aberystwyth via the A44 and Ponterwyd. The village is famous for its remarkable triple-decker bridge formation spanning a dramatic gorge, where three bridges from different centuries sit stacked above each other. Weather changes quickly at this elevation, with frequent mist and rain keeping the River Mynach waterfalls flowing year-round. You can peer through gaps in the upper bridges to see all three levels at once.
