Dethick

Dethick is a small Derbyshire village nestled between Matlock and the Peak District, accessible via the A615 from the A6 corridor or A38 from Derby. Most visitors arrive from the M1 (junctions 28 or 29) or travel locally from Matlock, five kilometres south. The village boasts Dethick Manor, a Grade II listed medieval building once owned by the Babington family, whose Anthony Babington plotted against Elizabeth I.
