Dens is a small Aberdeenshire settlement about 40km northwest of Aberdeen, reached via the A90 and A952 through Toll of Birness. The area has roughly ten public EV charging points scattered locally. The name comes from the Scots word for valleys, reflecting the gentle undulations where small burns cut through this corner of the Buchan plateau.
