Dennistoun is a Victorian tenement district in Glasgow's East End, just two kilometers from the city center. Reach it via the M8 at Junction 15 for Duke Street, the main route through the area. The neighborhood features red sandstone buildings arranged in a distinctive grid pattern from the late 1800s industrial expansion. Alexandra Park houses Britain's oldest public fossil grove, where 330-million-year-old tree stumps remain preserved in their original positions.
