Deadwater lies amid Hampshire's distinctive heathland, easily reached via the A325 from Farnham or the A31 corridor. The village sits close to Bordon and several rural communities, with good access to both Lasham Airfield and RAF Odiham. Despite its rather forbidding name, the village is actually named after the clear stream that flows through the surrounding heath.
