Deadman's Cross

Deadman's Cross is a small Bedfordshire settlement just off the A600, about 4km south of Bedford. The village sits at a historic crossroads between several market towns including Haynes, Shefford, and Chicksands. With over 100 EV charging points nearby and good links to the M1 via Bedford, it's well-connected for both local trips and longer journeys. The name comes from an old crossroads where four parish boundaries met, once creating a lawless spot reportedly used for duelling.
