Dawley forms part of Telford in Shropshire, easily reached via Junction 4 of the M54 motorway. The A442 provides north-south connections through the area, whilst the A4169 serves local routes within the Telford network. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 40 fast charging points across the wider Telford area. The town was one of the original settlements incorporated into Telford new town when it was designated in 1968, making it part of Britain's final major new town project.
