Dargate is a small Kentish village surrounded by cherry orchards and hop gardens between Canterbury and the Swale marshes. Access via the A299 from Canterbury (8km) or take Junction 7 off the M2 then follow signs toward Whitstable. The area offers excellent EV charging with over 60 fast chargers nearby, and the village sits perfectly for exploring Kent's fruit-growing countryside. The 400-year-old Dove Inn remains the heart of the community with its original Tudor features intact.
