Danforth is a small farming town in east-central Illinois, about 90 miles south of Chicago via Interstate 57. Take Exit 283 and head west on Route 9 for 8 miles to reach the town center. The grain elevator along the railroad tracks serves as the main landmark visible from miles away across the flat prairie landscape.
