Dalshalloch is a small village in East Ayrshire, just outside Auchinleck in the former mining heartland. Reach it via the A76 from Kilmarnock or Glasgow (45km), with local connections to Cumnock and the A70. The village sits near the Lugar Water, which once powered the area's industrial mills.
