Dalmeny is a West Lothian village on the Firth of Forth, just west of Edinburgh on the A90 towards the Forth Road Bridge. It's perfectly placed for Edinburgh Airport (15 minutes) and makes an ideal stop when heading north to Fife or the Highlands. The village houses Dalmeny House, an impressive Tudor Gothic mansion and seat of the Earl of Rosebery.
