Dail Malio lies in the Trossachs, just off the A821 near Kinlochard within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Most visitors arrive via the A81 from Stirling then the scenic A821 through Aberfoyle, whilst the Duke's Pass route from Glasgow offers dramatic Highland views. The settlement provides access to Loch Katrine walks, where Victorian water intake structures still supply Glasgow's water system.
