Cushinstown is a small County Meath town about 40 kilometers north of Dublin, perfectly placed for exploring the Boyne Valley's ancient sites. The M1 motorway gets you there quickly from Dublin, while the N2 connects through Ashbourne if you're coming from the west. It's handy for Brú na Bóinne and Newgrange, plus families love combining visits with Tayto Park nearby. Dublin Airport is close enough for international visitors, and there are plenty of golf courses around if that's your thing. The countryside here is proper farming country, with cattle dotting the green fields that stretch toward Slane.
