Culgaith

England

Culgaith is a small Eden Valley village on the A686 between Penrith and Alston, with its own station on the scenic Settle-Carlisle railway. The village provides access to both Lake District approaches and Pennine routes, whilst sitting roughly 15km from the M6 via local roads. The Victorian signal box at Culgaith station remains operational, controlling one of England's most celebrated railway lines.
