Cuidrach lies on Skye's western coast, about 15km northwest of Portree via the A87. Most visitors arrive from Inverness (160km) crossing the Skye Bridge, whilst local routes connect to Uig and Dunvegan. The area offers approximately 9 public fast chargers for electric vehicles. The settlement provides access to the Quiraing, a dramatic landslip formation featuring towering rock pinnacles that rank among Scotland's most photographed natural landmarks.
