Crowton is a small Cheshire village positioned between the A556 and Delamere Forest, easily reached from Junction 12 of the M56 or via the A557 from Runcorn. Popular routes include short trips to Northwich's salt museums and longer drives to Chester's Roman walls. The village sits on the historic Weaver Navigation, where restored narrowboats still cruise the waterways that once transported salt from local mines.
