Crossmyloof occupies a quiet corner of Glasgow's South Side, sandwiched between Shawlands and Queen's Park. Reach it via the A77 Pollokshaws Road from the city centre or the nearby M77 for longer journeys. The name derives from Gaelic "Cros mo Luibh" - cross of my herb - marking an ancient boundary at this former crossroads.
