Cross Stobbs is a small East Renfrewshire community near Barrhead, easily reached via the A726 from Glasgow or Junction 3 of the M77. Glasgow Airport is 20km northwest. The area offers good access to central Scotland's motorway network, with over 300 EV charging points nearby. The name derives from old Scots "stobb," meaning wooden boundary posts.
