Crickham lies in Somerset's distinctive Levels, about 20 miles south of Bristol. Reach it via the A38 from M5 Junction 22, then local roads through Wedmore, or from Bath via the A39. The village sits amid the flat, drained agricultural landscape characteristic of this part of Somerset, with Bristol Airport 15 miles northeast. The parish church houses a remarkably preserved medieval wooden rood screen.
