Cremorne occupies a prime Thames-side spot in Kensington and Chelsea, wedged between the river and King's Road. Access is via the A4 Chelsea Embankment or across Battersea and Albert bridges, with the A3036 Cheyne Walk running through its heart. The Victorian pleasure gardens here once hosted spectacular balloon ascents and fireworks that drew crowds from across London.
