Cregganbaun sits on County Mayo's coast between Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick, about 15 kilometres west of Westport along the R335. The village makes a handy stop on the Wild Atlantic Way route, with the road continuing toward Louisburgh. You can reach it via the N5 from Dublin through Westport, or the N84 from Galway through Castlebar. The area has decent EV charging and amenities like The Wild Atlantic Sauna nearby. From here you get brilliant views of Clew Bay's drumlin islands, which locals swear number 365 though the count changes with the tides.
