Crarae sits along the A83 on Loch Fyne's western shore, serving as a stopping point between Glasgow and the Hebridean ferries. The village lies roughly 90 minutes from Glasgow via Arrochar, whilst Inveraray is just 16 kilometres north along the lochside. About seven fast EV chargers serve the area for those heading to the islands. The settlement is famous for its remarkable Himalayan garden, where exotic rhododendrons flourish in the Gulf Stream's warming influence.
