Crannach lies amid Moray's farming country, part of a cluster of small villages connected by quiet country lanes. Most drivers reach it via the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road, then head north through Keith on the B9103 before following local routes. The area offers decent EV charging with about 13 fast chargers nearby. The village name comes from the Gaelic word for crannog, those ancient artificial islands built in Scottish lochs.
