Craigens lies in East Ayrshire's former mining heartland, easily reached via the A76 from Glasgow in about 45 minutes. The A70 offers alternative access from Ayr and the coast, whilst local roads connect to Cumnock and surrounding villages. With roughly 16 fast EV chargers nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The area's claim to fame is neighbouring Dumfries House, where extensive restoration has preserved exceptional 18th-century interiors and furniture.
