Craigearn lies in rural Aberdeenshire, reached via the A96 from Aberdeen with a turn-off at Kemnay. The B994 offers an alternative route through pleasant Don Valley countryside. About 30 EV charging points serve the area around Kemnay and along the A96. The village sits near the historic ruins of Monymusk Priory, which once housed the famous Monymusk Reliquary.
