Crafthole is a small Cornish village near the Devon border, accessible via the A374 from Torpoint and Plymouth. The village sits between the Tamar estuary and coast, with local routes connecting to Portwrinkle and coastal walks along Whitsand Bay. Its unusual name comes from the Cornish "croft" and "hole," describing the sheltered hollow where the original settlement was built.
