Cowfold

Cowfold lies along the A272 in West Sussex, roughly halfway between Horsham and Haywards Heath. This historic village makes a pleasant stop when crossing the county, with good connections to the A23 for London traffic and the A24 for coastal routes. The surrounding countryside offers gentle hills and farmland typical of the Weald, whilst the village itself retains much of its medieval character around the 13th-century church of St. Peter.
