Corpach

Scotland
Corpach sits where the Caledonian Canal meets Loch Linnhe in the shadow of Ben Nevis. The A830 Road to the Isles runs straight through the village, connecting Fort William seven kilometres away with Mallaig and the Skye ferries. It's a natural stopping point for anyone heading to the western islands or walking the West Highland Way. The village overlooks the concrete remains of a wartime barge that ran aground in 1944 and still emerges at low tide.
