Coppy is a small County Durham village near Stanley, about 15km southwest of Newcastle via the A693. The A1(M) provides longer-distance connections 10km east, whilst local roads link surrounding former mining communities. With over 350 EV charging points in the wider area and Newcastle Airport 25km away, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. The village sits remarkably close to Beamish Open Air Museum, where Victorian tramcars still carry passengers through meticulously recreated period streets.
