Copperhouse is a former industrial village near Hayle on Cornwall's north coast, easily reached via the A30 trunk road. The settlement sits close to St Ives Bay and benefits from the county's mild maritime climate. Electric vehicle charging is well-established with over 40 public fast chargers nearby. The village gets its name from the 18th-century copper smelting works whose distinctive slag heaps remain visible in the landscape.
