Compton is a small Devon village between Torquay and Newton Abbot, easily reached via the A380 from M5 Junction 31. The area offers excellent EV charging with over 50 fast chargers nearby. Popular routes include short trips to Torquay's beaches (6km) and scenic drives toward Dartmoor. The 13th-century church of St. Swithin houses a remarkable medieval rood screen with original painted saints.
