Colwell is a small Devon hamlet reached via minor roads south from Honiton off the A35. The A30 provides long-distance connections to Exeter and Cornwall, whilst local routes link surrounding villages through typical Devon lanes. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Honiton with over 40 fast chargers. The settlement takes its name from a natural spring that still flows beside the old parish boundary stone.
