Colmonell is a small South Ayrshire village just off the A77, the main Glasgow-Stranraer route. It's well-placed for exploring the Galloway coast, with local roads connecting to Ballantrae and other coastal spots. The village sits in the mild Stinchar Valley and has decent EV charging nearby. The medieval church houses an impressive collection of carved stone knights from the 14th and 15th centuries.
