Coldwell occupies a quiet spot in Sheffield's northern suburbs, reached via the A61 through Hillsborough or the A6102 from the city centre. The M1 lies 15 kilometres east for longer journeys, whilst the A628 Woodhead Pass provides a scenic but challenging route to Manchester.
