Cogenhoe is a small Nene Valley village in West Northamptonshire, positioned between Northampton and Castle Ashby. Access is via the A428 from either direction, with the A45 providing connections to Birmingham and the east coast. Most visitors arrive from Northampton, 8km southwest via the A4500. The village church houses a rare 14th-century wooden effigy of an armoured knight.
