Clonmel

Ireland
Clonmel sits on the River Suir at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains, about 170 kilometers southwest of Dublin. The M8 motorway gives quick access from Dublin (2 hours) and Cork (1.5 hours), while the railway connects to the Limerick Junction-Waterford line. The town center runs along the river with traditional shopfronts and modern developments. You'll find about 20 public EV chargers around town. Clonmel famously held off Cromwell's army in 1650, became the home of Bulmers cider, and still has bits of its medieval walls standing.
