Cloatley is a small Wiltshire village near the Gloucestershire border, reached via country lanes from the A419 Swindon-Cirencester road. The M4 lies 15km south through Swindon, whilst the A40 provides northern connections. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Swindon with over 100 public fast chargers. The village's 12th-century St. Margaret's church features a rare Norman tympanum with geometric carvings above its south door.
