Claudy is a small County Londonderry village nestled in the Sperrin foothills, serving as a gateway to Northern Ireland's rural interior. The A6 connects it directly to Derry city (15km) and Belfast beyond, whilst the B74 leads into Sperrin country and the A37 heads coastward. The village gained tragic notoriety from a 1972 bombing that killed nine people, now commemorated by a memorial garden.
