Clady, Mid Ulster
united kingdom
united kingdom
Clady lies along the A42 between Magherafelt and Antrim, making it a handy stopping point for cross-country journeys. The M2 is easily reached via Antrim, whilst local routes connect to Portglenone (3km), Bellaghy (8km), and Kilrea (11km) through pleasant Ulster countryside. The name derives from the Irish "Cladach" meaning shore, rather puzzling given its inland location.
