Claddaghduff is a small coastal village in County Galway where you can walk to Omey Island at low tide across a sand causeway that vanishes when the tide comes back in. Take the N59 west from Galway for 70 kilometers, then turn south on the R341 through Clifden, about 90 minutes total. The village sits on Mannin Bay with decent amenities including around 9 fast EV chargers nearby, plus Connemara Golf course and Roundstone Retreat & Sauna. It's a grand spot for a weekend away from Dublin, roughly 250 kilometers via the M6 and N59.
