Churt is a Surrey village between Farnham and Hindhead, reached via the A287 from the A3. Most visitors come from London via the A3 past Guildford, whilst locals use the B3004 and connecting lanes. The village sits on elevated heathland near the Devil's Punch Bowl with views across the Surrey Hills. Lloyd George's former home, Bron-y-de, remains the village's most notable landmark where the wartime PM spent his final years.
