Chillerton sits centrally on the Isle of Wight along the A3020, the main cross-island route between Newport and Sandown. Most visitors arrive via Newport from the ferry terminals, though the village connects easily to all parts of the island through the well-developed road network. With over 100 EV charging points across the island and the mild maritime climate supporting year-round exploration, Chillerton makes an excellent base for discovering the island's chalk downs and historic sites. The village's working Victorian watermill still grinds flour using its original machinery.
