Chilham is a medieval village in Kent, 10km southwest of Canterbury on the North Downs. Reach it via the A28 from Canterbury, then A252 through Chartham. From London, take M2 to A2, then A28. The A252 connects east-west to Ashford. The village centres on an intact Tudor square with St. Mary's Church, whose 500-year-old tower overlooks the Stour Valley.
