Chicklade is a small Wiltshire village on the A350 between Shaftesbury and Warminster. Most visitors arrive via the A303 and A350 from London or the southwest, whilst locals use minor roads to nearby Hindon and the Fonthill villages. The village sits on the ancient Ox Drove, a prehistoric cattle route from Wales to southeastern markets.
