Chequertree is a small Kent village on the Romney Marsh, reached via local lanes connecting to the A259 and A2070 towards Ashford. Popular routes include short trips to New Romney and Rye, or longer journeys to Canterbury and Dover. The village sits within sight of Dungeness nuclear power station's distinctive twin reactor buildings on the horizon.
