Chelvey is a small North Somerset village nestled between the Mendip Hills and Bristol Channel. Reached via the A38 from Bristol then local roads, it's popular for short trips to nearby Nailsea (4km) and coastal Clevedon, with Bristol Airport conveniently close. The village's 15th-century St Bridget's Church contains remarkably preserved carved bench ends depicting biblical scenes.
