Cheddleton is a Staffordshire Moorlands village on the A520 between Leek and Stone, sitting in the sheltered Churnet Valley near the Peak District's southern edge. Main access is via the A520 from the A50, with the A53 through Leek connecting to Buxton. Popular routes include the A520/A521 to Stoke-on-Trent and minor roads to Alton Towers via Oakamoor. The village features Cheddleton Railway Station, a preserved Victorian station where steam trains operate along the scenic Churnet Valley Railway.
